A drug company wishes to compare the effects of three different drugs (X, Y, and Z) that are being developed to reduce cholesterol levels. Each drug is administered to six patients at the recommended dosage for six months. At the end of this period the reduction in cholesterol level is recorded for each patient. The results are given in Table 18.15. Assuming that the three samples are independent, use a nonparametric test to see whether the effects of the three drugs differ. Use α = .05.
