Convert the table to a joint probability table and use it to answer the following questions:
a. If a consumer is selected from the survey at random, how likely is it that he/she either saw the ad or purchased the product or did both?
b. How likely is it that a randomly selected consumer in the survey purchased the product?
c. If a randomly selected consumer in the study is known to have seen the ad, how likely is it that he/she purchased the product?
d. Are the events “seeing the ad” and “purchasing the product” statistically independent?
