(b) Simulate N = 200 random samples of size n = 16 from an exponential distribution with θ equal to the mean of the data in part (a) minus 9. For each sample, calculate the value of s2. Construct a histogram of these 200 values of s2.

(c) Construct a q–q plot of the two sets of sample variances and compare these two empirical distributions of s2.
