In a study of investment behavior, a sample of 1500 investors was selected and asked to categorize their investment behavior as “aggressive,” “balanced,” or “conservative.” Investors were also categorized by income. Results from the study appear in the contingency table below:
Use a chi square test of independence to test a null hypothesis that investment behavior is independent of income for the population represented here. Use a significance level of 5% for your test.
