Hi, I am Souvik from India. I am a graduate mechanical engineer. I completed my graduation in the year 2010 from Jadavpur University, one of the premier engineering institutes in India. Then I joined an oil marketing company and worked for 7 years, being posted at various places in India. In 2017, I left the job to progress my career in teaching and academics. Since then, I am completely involved in private tutoring and my academic works.
Since my early school days, Science, especially mathematics was my favorite subject and I used to score good marks consistently throughout my student life. I used to tutor on 10+2 level mathematics during my college days. Currently, I am tutoring students in high school mathematics and physics.
To me, education means a complete understanding of the subject, not just gathering information on it. In my opinion, it is imperative for a person to have a clear concept and deep knowledge of a subject in order to excel. So, I always try to teach in detail, citing practical examples as much as possible, invoking inquisitiveness in them and encourage them to ask questions.
Apart from work, I like to watch movies, especially documentaries, sci-fi, and super-hero movies. Also, I am an avid reader and spend most of my leisure time reading science-fictions, novels, scientific journals, etc.
Looking forward to our first rendezvous with you. Till then, happy learning.
