For me, tutoring is a great opportunity to help others and it helps me become a better individual as well. As a tutor, I also like getting to know people. Because one of the most important things I learned as a tutor was that it is vital to have strong interpersonal skills. Without effective communication, students could do poorly on assignments or tests. It is very important to build strong communication. Another skill that I learned as a tutor was time-management because time-management is one of the most useful skills anyone can have. My experience as a tutor gave me the expertise that will open doors to more job opportunities, and everyday experiences. I also believe that the most important aspects of being a tutor are patience, determination, and diligence. Overall, my experience being a tutor was very positive and it is something that I will cherish and will stay forever in my memory because it provided me with essential skills and confidence in myself I never knew I had.
