Past research has shown that Millennials, defined as those in the 18– 34 age group, are more willing to provide personal information online to a company in exchange for something in return when compared to older individuals. To verify these reports, a random sample of 200 Millennials was selected and it was found that 112 responded that they would share their location in order to receive deals from nearby businesses. A random sample of 200 individuals older than 34 years was selected and 84 responded in the same manner.
