Project Description:

burnes (2009) proposes that proponents of the emergent approach to change stress five features of organisations that either promote or obstruct change success: 1) organisational structure; 2) organisational culture; 3) organisational learning; 4) managerial behaviour; 5) and power and politics.
discuss emergent change (and how it differs from planned change) and its characteristics, and then apply each of the five factors for success to an organisation (either one that you know or one that has been in the news recently, ie qantas, holden, ford, spc, or other organisation undergoing change).

n. b. you must include a minimum of ten (10) journal articles together with other academic citations and references.
