i find the idea of eating according to seasons very appealing. it seems very in tune with nature, with good health and best nutrition.
of course years ago, that was the way people ate because food was not transported over distances. what foods were available during the wintertime, was very different from what was available in the summertime.
in the winter we crave certain foods and in the summer we crave other foods.
