Question

Public libraries are not run for profit, but they must know their customers. A Pew Research survey in November 2012 found that 426 of 584 surveyed parents of young children had current library cards. 967 of 1668 adults without young children had library cards.
a) Is there evidence that the percentage of adults with library cards is different between these two groups?
b) Give a 95% confidence interval for the difference.
