Recent attention has been given to the percentage of successful free throws that resulted in points made in men’s college basketball and the number of dribbles the shooter takes prior to the free throw. Samples of players who dribbled twice and players who dribbled four times before making free throws were randomly collected, and the number in both groups that was successful recorded:
