Researchers have coded a random sample of households according to household income (1 = under $30,000, 2 = $30,000–$49,999, 3 = $50,000–$69,999, and 4 = $70,000 or more) and number of vehicles owned (1 = 0, 2 = 1 or 2, and 3 = 3 or more). The data are in file XR13086. Using the 0.05 level of significance, test whether household income is independent of the number of vehicles owned.
