Robert, owner of Robert’s Inc., one of Cory’s Window Washers commercial customers, is not satisfied with the cleaning his building has received. He complains to Ruby, the crew leader responsible for the building. The discussion becomes heated and Ruby ends up punching Robert in the face. When Robert sues Cory for the injuries he received, Cory defends by saying that he was not involved in the dispute and is therefore not responsible. Is this a good defense? Explain.
