In regard to misrepresentation, a plaintiff

a. is never entitled to rely on a defendant’s opinion.

b. is entitled to rely on a defendant’s opinion if the defendant purports to have special knowledge that the plaintiff does not have.

c. need not have justification for relying on a defendant’s misrepresentation.

d. is not entitled to rely on a defendant’s opinion even if the defendant worked to secure the confidence of the plaintiff.
