It has been proposed that the feed toluene to the process shown in Figure 1.5 be vaporized prior to mixing with the hydrogen. It is believed that this scheme will allow more flexibility in the operation of the plant. You have been asked to devise a conceptual design for this vaporizer. The source of heat is the condensation of high-pressure steam. The system designed should be capable of controlling the amount of toluene vaporized and the pressure at which the toluene leaves the vaporizer. Sketch a diagram showing the major pieces of equipment and major control loops.
