Governments around the world implement measures to promote gender equality, and they need to know whether voters think they’re being successful. Angus Reid Strategies conducted a survey in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom to provide information on this issue. A key question asked was, “From what you have seen, read, or heard, do you think women and men in [Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom] are paid the same salary when working the same job?” The results are given in the table at the bottom of this page.
