In May 2018, the Web site NBAstuffer.com reported that 18 of the 30 NBA teams have 3 or more employees whose sole responsibility is to analyze data. The information compiled by these “statheads” is then used to help make decisions about player development and roster construction, game-planning (including in-game decision making), and physical training. For the 2018 regular season the 18 teams played a total of 1,476 games and won 750 of them.

a. Using α = 0.01, can it be concluded that teams who employ “statheads” (I confess I am not really thrilled with this word) have an advantage over those teams that do not?
