a. Evaluate ­Σ10(T − 30) and ­Σ100(T − 30)².

b. Use your answers to part a to calculate the standard deviation of T.

c. By 5p.m. the temperature at each location had dropped by exactly 0.75°C. Find the variance of the temperatures at 5p.m.
