The Homes of Distinction Christmas Home Tour is a Niagara-based home tour, taking place every year in mid-November. Together with the Walk/Run for Life and the Banquet and Silent Auction, Homes of Distinction exists as a fundraising effort to support the Niagara Life Centre (NLC), a counselling service offered to anyone in the Niagara region. Recently being hired as the Chair of the Organizing Committee for the Home Tour, Sheryl Bruggeling was assigned the task to increase the event’s contribution to the NLC to $20 000. Sheryl must evaluate the many ideas she has come up with and implement the ones that would be viable. Sheryl’s ideas centre on different aspects of marketing, including target market, marketing research, pricing, and promotion.
