Video Gaming for 135 Hours and 50 Minutes The record for the longest video game marathon is held by Okan Kaya, who took the Guinness World Record for playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for 135 hours and 50 minutes in November 2012. Guinness rules allow for a 10minute break every hour to avoid tragedies since an 18yearold gamer died in Taiwan after continuously playing for 40 hours.
