Think for a moment about a situation where you were part of a group or an organization (work, club, volunteer project, etc.). What were the communication rules and procedures in this context? Was the amount of influence and power the leader had clearly spelled out? Did you and other group members feel free to challenge the leader’s actions? How would you describe your leader–follower relationship? Do you think you are or were vulnerable to being unfairly treated by this leader?
