Now play the role of an Alphabet executive. Build an argument for Alphabet and defend the firm against antitrust accusations. Your instructor may split the class into two groups and conduct a class debate or mock trial. When the debate is done, take off your “role play” hat and vote what you really think should happen: Alphabet should be left alone, it should be regulated, and if so, how?
