Prepare a brief profile of the public accounting profession in your state or other jurisdiction. You might include information such as the number of licensed practice units, the number of licensed CPAs, the extent to which the Big Six and second-tier firms are present, the identity of two or three regional and local firms, which firms recruit graduates of your accounting program, and the name, location, and size of the state professional organization of CPAs (not the board of accountancy) and local chapter of that organization, if applicable.
