2. Are experts always the best teachers for new learners of a skill? Why or why not?
I do not believe that experts are always the best teachers for new learners. A more effective strategy is the use of an unskilled model that is learning the skill. Watching an expert model might encourage learners to imitate movements rather than explore movement. Expert models have high skill proficiency which may cause them to be harder on the learner since they have more experience. Learners perform better when they watch models they perceive as similar to themselves.
