b. What has been the cause of job loss in the U.S. over the past one or two decades? Can more job losses be attributed to export of jobs to other countries or to replacement of jobs with newer technologies?

c. The U.S. runs about a $500 billion annual trade deficit with the rest of the world. In other words, we import $500 billion more goods and services each year than we sell to foreign entities. Find some information about the concept of "capital inflow" and then offer your observations as to the upsides and downsides of such a large trade deficit?
