Answer rating: 100% (QA)
Mobile Application Introduction Anyone intending to come up with an app has to focus more on what not to do rather than what to do While coming up with the medical care mobile application I experienced a lot of challenges Klancar Orqueda Matko Karba 2001 In this paper I shall highlight some of the challenges I experienced in my project On the other hand I shall highlight some recommendation for future enhancement of this project Challenges Experienced in this Project a Coming Up With an Application that will easily Get Noticed Nowadays there exist huge competition in the mobile applications market this placed me under pressure to come up with an application that will easily get recognition Podziewski Litwiniuk Legierski 2012 To achieve this I had to follow to come up with the possible strategy which can lead me to developing the best application b Finding Someone to Fund My Application Upon coming up with this mobile app idea I had to find someone to fund my project This was definitely a hassle as my project needed a lot of money I couldnt single handedly raise it Panhale 2016 However I thought of a solution c The Initiative of Making the Application Interactive It does not go without saying that interactions are vital aspects just like responsive design With the advancement in technology the mobile devices have also come with sensors this was an opportunity which I had to exploit it fully Cvetkovic et al 2016 Nevertheless the app design process with use of sensors was definitely not an easy task d Coming Up With an App which is simple and straightforward Any application that makes users think hard is definitely not a good app My challenge was to develop an application which users aged over 55 will have an easy time working with it I always reminded myself that what was clear to me doesnt necessarily mean it is also clear to someone else e The Application Performance vs the Battery Life of a Mobile Device Other than interaction and design aspects like the performance of an app and battery consumption rate must be taken into consideration when coming up with an app My challenge was coming up with an app that has low battery consumption rate but at the same time still delivering exemplary performance Panhale 2016 However I also noted that people rate differently an application depending on whether it appeals to them or not Given that the target people were aged over 55 I concluded that majority of them are still using older mobile devices Thence the other challenge was to develop an app that will work fine in these older devices f Managing the Mobile Content People will always be interested with a mobile app with interesting content Therefore I had to include animations and images that will appeal to these target groups the features were medical related Panhale 2016 However these features consumed a lot of bandwidth furthermore the wireless networks fail sometimes thus making it hard to deliver an app with features that consumes large bandwidth Modification Strategies and Actionable Steps The app should have instructions that are written using simple language that the old people can easily understand Technical terms should be avoided Hence the app becomes user friendly Also the number of steps that are to be followed when accessing the app should be few in that the user easily gets the service they are seeking for The later can be achieved by ensuring that the app menu is self explanatory and easily understandable The ability of an operating system to support the app is a definite challenge Its therefore essential to reduce the processor requirement of the app so that older versions of operating systems example android version 20 can support and run the app Thus the app will be a perfect fit for the old people considering their phones are a bit outdated Potential Issues Though the app is a great discovery it may experience ...
