Use the information gathered in the Self-Assessment process above, to inform the development of a QIP for your Service for the same two Quality Area's.
TIPS:
-Continue to collaborate with stakeholders to identify strengths and key improvements sought within the Service. Stakeholders include educators, children, families and local community;
-Ask open and closed questions and actively listen to seek information and confirm understanding;
-Determine how key improvements will be reflected in the Service;
-Identify and record one (1) contemporary principle or emerging trend/research to include in the Service delivery. This may be an area identified in the Self-Assessment. (e.g. emphasis on guidance of children's behaviour is away from behaviourism to intrinsic self-regulation);
-Clearly and concisely record all of the information in the QIP template provided by ACECQA. This can be found on the ACECQA website. You only need to complete the pages associated with the Quality Areas chosen. General centre information not required.
