1:12 < Back Leadership Essay 1 Instruction... MGNT 3235 - Spring 2024 Leadership Essay 1 Instructions Due Thursday, 2/22 by 11:59 pm in the Folio Dropbox First off, essays 1 and 2 aren't intended to be 'busy work'. I really believe that in taking the time to work through this, you will have the opportunity to think about your views on leadership and to consider what being a leader means to you. Perhaps even more importantly, I am hopeful that one day you will find these essays - even though it was probably packed away in a cardboard box when you moved to wherever your life takes you and it will give you a little bit of guidance, while also reminding you of a few key leadership tips and ideas. This essay is meant to be based on your OWN thoughts and ideas regarding leadership! There will be a plagiarism check on both of these assignments, though this shouldn't be an issue since this is your views or opinions. Credit is based upon answering all parts of the question. It must be uploaded as a Microsoft Word document. Grammar and other writing considerations will not count against you unless I can't follow what you are trying to say. No late assignments accepted for any reason! ESSAY 1 (30 points) (A) Provide your own one sentence definition of leadership. (B) Discuss your definition of leadership in at least 2 paragraphs (2/3-1 page, these recommendations are based on double space). Why did you pick this? Why those words exactly? What does this mean to you and for you as a leader? () Discuss (explain, not just list) 5 important leader traits/behaviors you want to enact as a leader. This can be bullet pointed, but with EXPLANATIONS! (D) Discuss (explain, not just list) 5 things a leader should NOT do. Again, this can be bullet pointed, but with EXPLANATIONS! Format: 12-point font using Times New Roman or Calibri font. Standard 1" margins. Double-space the assignment, which would be about 2-3 pages if you are answering completely. Please separate each prompt by paragraph or another preferred way so I understand what you're answering. Meaning, this should not be one long run-on paragraph. ... 1:12 < Back Leadership Essay 1 Instruction...
