Note that Family Day is a well- known annual event, and the date changes slightly depending upon the year in which it occurs. In this case, there are 7 additional days of events and activities that are also planned (these days are in addition to the special events that actually occur on Family Day). Use this information to prepare project schedule for the event. Event is held for 7 days in Peterborough and budget is capped at $100,000. For each major deliverable shown in the WBS, prepare an additional 8 key activities (minimum) for each major deliverable. Assign Resources for all tasks. Decompose deliverables into individual activities. Individual Assignment Instructions: Network Diagram Prepare a network diagram for your Family Day Event 2023. Remember that a network diagram is used to help you determine the sequence of events at a high level. Detailed Schedule Once your Network Diagram is complete, prepare your detailed schedule for the Family Day Event 2023 in an MS Project Gantt chart. In that Gantt chart you will include the following: Define Activities Sequence Activities Define Activity Durations for each task (this is your project, so it is up to you to determine the durations for the activities you think are required for the Family Day Event) Determine the Resource Allocation for each task (you determine what skills and people are required to successfully execute your project) Tasks/ Predecessors References/Citations, etc. References for this assignment include the following: All Lecture Notes to-date Textbook "Understanding Project Management" PMBOK Guide 6th edition and 7th edition You must include references in all of your documentation. For your MS Project file you may include references in a note. All submissions will also be graded on professionalism.
