A charity, or any organization really, needs to consider not only their customers but other segmentations which could include their manufacturing plants, aspiring customers, and office neighbours. These different groups can have an impact on how a business operates. If these segments have issues with the firm this can impact their profitability. Sharing negative reviews or attitudes can be done quite easily over social media with negative posts or comments, or through negative reviews, or even word of mouth to dissuade individuals and corporations from doing further business (Zhao et al., 2020).
