Question:
A gap in the literature is a 'hole' existing in the body of knowledge - the literature, into which a study fits (Chenail, et al. 2010 cited in Tichapondwa, 2013). It is identified by showing what other scholars and researchers in the area of study have done and what they have not done and, therefore, what the current researcher intends to do.
Therefore, the gap which has been identified for this study to fill is a geographical one. A geographical gap, according to Tichapondwa (2013), occurs when a variable has been researched in some countries and not in others.
Support the above with some sources( as many as possible, from 2019 to 2023 ) where similar studies have been conducted outside Botswana.
Use the 3 Cs of academic writing: (i) be CLEAR; (ii) be CONCRETE; (iii) be CONCISE.
