Ada planned to convert the stables and outbuildings into three barn conversions. However, there are a couple of issues. 

 

First of all, Ada discovers that one of the stables is locked up and she cannot find a key. Then she meets Lakshmi walking to this stable, apparently because Lakshmi stores riding equipment in there. Ada said that Lakshmi would have to leave now, but Lakshmi has a deed relating to this stable and signed by Ron that states at clause 5: 

 

• 5.1 This licence is granted for a period of 6 years, commencing on 2 March 2018, and ending on 1 March 2024. 

 

• 5.2 During the period of this licence the Licensor reserves the right to permit another person to occupy Stable 3 together with the Licensee'. 

 

Ada wonders if she could exercise the right at clause 5.2 as a way of pushing Lakshmi out of the property.
