Air flows along a heated pipe. The air enters the pipe at M = 3, p = 1 atm and T= 300 K. The pipe is heated at a rate of 500 kJ/kg per metre of pipe length. At the end of the pipe the flow has reached the critical state (M = 1). Find the length of the pipe. Notes: If using tables, use the nearest tabulated value - do not interpolate.
