An Online Food Ordering System allows the user of a web browser to order food for home delivery. To place an order, a shopper searches to find items to purchase, adds items one at a time to a shopping cart, and possibly searches again for more items. The default quantity is set to one, shopper may change it. The application calculates the individual item amount as well as the total amount of the order when added to the shopping chart. At CHECKOUT, when all items have been selected, the shopper supplies his/her name, a delivery address, email, and contact number. If not paying with cash, the shopper also provides credit card info that will be validated by payment system. At the end of a successful order placement, the shopper invoice will be generated that can be saved to the local folder. An email and SMS will also be sent for the confirmation.
