a) Draw a precedence diagram for this operation.

b) Compute the total time to assemble one suitcase and the cycle time required.

c) Balance the iine i.e. calculate the minimum number of workstations and assign the

tasks to the workstations.

d) Calculate the balance efficiency for the line.

e) Critically discuss how changing the number of workstations impacts the balance

efficiency of the line
