ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Soraya is the new HR manager at A1 Manufacturing & Consulting. When she began her new position, she quickly realized that A1 did not pay much attention to occupational health and safety issues. She determined that this company violated several legislated health and safety requirements. She approached members of upper management with her concerns. At first, they seemed unruffled by her warnings about health and safety violations throughout the company. Only when she reminded the upper management that the organization could face fines and that some executive-level individuals could face criminal charges if there were a safety-related incident. Soraya was given the job of fixing the problem. She has contacted you, an occupational health and safety consultant, to help her with the following: 1. Using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Model, develop O&HS training: • Outline what information is needed for various types of needs analysis and where this information can be found. • Design ten training objectives, six of higher order and four of lower order. • How can the efficiency of training be assessed? Elaborate on two levels of evaluation. 2. Emergency Planning Take a look at A1 Emergency Plan and revise it to determine errors. o In your answer: identify the page number and what an error is. ● 3. Incident Investigation During one of your walkthroughs, you witnessed an incident, but turns out A1 do not have incident reporting procedures. As you are on the scene, describe the step you will be taking to conduct an incident investigation. Once you finish the investigation, produce a mini-report with your findings and recommendations. ● 4, Disability Management . As the saying goes, "When it rains, it pours." You have now discovered that supervisors and managers at A1 do not understand return-to-work planning, especially concerning workplace accommodation. You need to create a one-pager describing types of modified work arrangements and provide an example for each. 5. Workplace Wellness • Your contract is nearing completion, and one last issue requires your attention. You've noticed that multiple employees in the office are working additional hours while some are even coming on the weekend. As you are a huge proponent of work-life balance decided to put a proposal for Soraya (HR Manager who hired you) with five (5) workplace wellbeing initiatives. In your proposal, detail the benefits of each and the possible costs associated with those. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Soraya is the new HR manager at A1 Manufacturing & Consulting.
