Assignment Instructions For this assignment, you'll further refine your planned project by developing a resource usage chart in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Using the information and examples on p. 425-426 as a reference and guide, you will develop a resource usage chart to organize and manage labor resources over the course of the project. This process will entail three steps: listing resources, developing a calendar, and scheduling resources. List of Resources Start by creating a column on the left side of spreadsheet, labeled "Resources". List each of the staff/labor resources as a single row under this column Note: a team can be considered a single resource Create a second column to the right of the "Resources" column, labeled "Total Hours" You will enter the total number of hours each resource works over the course of the project here (it is best practice to create a formula such as SUM in order to ensure accurate calculations) Calendar Determine how many weeks your project is likely to last (for the sake of this exercise, your project must last at least 4 weeks) Create a column for each week (you may label these "Week 1, Week 2, etc.") Add a column after the last week, labeled "Notes" Resource Schedule Enter the number of hours worked by each resource during each week In the "Notes" column, provide a brief, 1-sentence comment explaining the role of the resource/team in the project for the weeks specified.
