At your organization, the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives is aware that you are going to be completing a course shortly in project and program risk management, as part of your master's degree program in project management. She has decided that you will be the best person to work on an upcoming assignment she is planning in project risk management for the organization. She classified the assignment into three phases as follows:
- Phase 1: General Organizational Risk Listing
- Phase 2: Risk Descriptions
- Phase 3: Proposed Risk Treatments
Phase 1 has been completed, and the results of the risk listings are provided below. Risks are listed by the organization's defined categories. For now, the Vice President is only interested in having you complete Phase 2.
Phase 2 requires a brief description of each risk that has been listed under each category. The objective is to enable the organization make a searchable potential project risks database using the descriptions you will provide. The plan is to make the database available to all project managers in the organization.
Phase 3 requires a brief description of appropriate risk mitigation strategy or strategies for each risk as described in Phase 2.
