Ben and Jerry were riding in Jerry's new convertible when Ben noticed some cornfields.  Suddenly, he had to have fresh corn on the cob for dinner. He told Jerry to stop so he could pick  some corn. Jerry replied "Look at that scarecrow. The owner of that field doesn't want the crows  to get his corn, and I bet he doesn't want you to get any either." Ben insisted that no one could  possibly miss a few ears of corn, so Jerry reluctantly parked the car on the side of the road. Ben  got out of the car and entered the cornfield.  Jerry was sitting in the car when a gust of wind blew the cap off his head and into the  cornfield. Jerry ran into the cornfield to retrieve his cap only to find that it had decapitated the scarecrow. Apparently, his cap had triggered a spring-gun. Thinking that it wasn't a good idea to  hang around, Jerry turned to leave when he realized he was lost. The stalks were so tall that he   couldn't see where he was. Fortunately, he had a machete with him, and he started hacking a path  through the cornfield, knocking down the corn stalks in his way. He soon found Ben, contentedly  picking up stalks of corn that had fallen to the ground. Jerry announced that it was time to go, so  the two started back to the car. Suddenly, a voice rang out from behind, "Stop or I will shoot!"  Ben and Jerry stopped and turned to find a farmer pointing a shotgun at them. The farmer said,  "This is my property. What are you doing with my corn?" When neither Ben nor Jerry responded,  the farmer shot his gun into the air. Ben dropped the corn and fled, with Jerry close behind him.  Farmed Dell was sought your advice as to whether he has grounds for an action against Ben, Jerry, and/or both. Discuss fully.
