Beth asked a book store for 50 books for the price of $600, the book store said that they could give beth a discount for the 50 books to come out to a total of $550. I response to this offer beth said "Yes give me 50 books and a signed copy for the same amount of $550". Five days later Beth received 50 copies of the book with a bill in the amount of $550. The signed copy was not enclosed. Bethwas annoyed at this and refused to pay the $550. She called the book store and told therepresentative that she no longer wanted the 50 copies of the book and that she would return the books and cease doing business with them in the future.The book store stated that they would not accept a return of the items and demanded the $550owed. The book. store sued Beth incourt for the remaining $550. NOTE THAT THE BOOK STORE IS THE ONE THAT GAVE THE OFFER AND BETH GAVE A COUNTEROFFER THAT THE BOOKSTORE NEVER AGREED TO
