For three days keep track of your dominant emotions. For each situation do the following: 

1. Describe the situation. Who was involved? What happened or what was being discussed? 

2. What was your emotional response? Be sure to include all the feelings you were aware of during, and as a result of, this encounter. 

3. Disclose these emotions to another person whom you trust. What did you say and do? Be sure to include your verbal and nonverbal communication. What was your reason for sharing? 

4. What was the outcome of your disclosure? How effective were you?
