Compare and contrast the two pieces as well as the designers. First compare/contrast on a purely visual level. But sometimes pieces that look similar have opposing ideas behind them. There is a technical level, how it is made. Distinguish the movements they belong to how how they approach the design style of the movement. Recount the materials and methods behind the making of each; why and how are they significant for the movement the chairs belong to or for the societies which are their contexts? Is there a single theme that the two chairs suggest? How they differently view the social role of design? Or reflect specific design theories?
