Conduct a simulation study of the statistical performance of permutations to test for a difference between two groups and compare to the performance of the t-test. You should test both false positive rate and power and you should consider both normally distributed data and non-normal. This problem is intentionally left open-ended. It is up to you to decide what scenarios to test, what output to give, and so on. You will be evaluated based on how well you explore the problem and on how well you communicate the results.
