- Describe the learning task in a brief paragraph. (i.e., What is the task or the change related to the task?
- Analyze how well the learning task was conducted through the 4-I framework:
- Inductive Work: Did the leader connect the learner to the task by relating the core concepts to the learners' real life, real work? Did the learners tune in and reposition their energy when something relevant was about to happen?
- Input: Was new content presented? Was the content substantial, challenging, and presented in a non-static way? What was the skill, knowledge, or attitude to be learned?
- Implementation: Were the learners asked to use the new content immediately right there in the class? Were the learners able to touch it and practice it right away?
- Integration: Did the learning survive outside the classroom? Was the learned content moved to the real world and applied in some way?
- Conclusion: What are the one or two most important "take-aways" or insights you gain from the reflection that could be useful for your future leadership opportunities?
