consider what they might have missed in their list. Did their list open your eyes to one
Question:
consider what they might have missed in their list. Did their list open your eyes to one or more things you missed yourself? How to respond to this post?
My list was pretty simple: I wake up, drive an hour to work, work 8 hours, have an hour drive home, decompress for about 2-ish hours, login to do some classwork, eat (within the last two or even after doing them), and go to bed for 6-7 hours. My list ended up being pretty close to 24 hours, give or take 30 minutes. My life routine is about the same every day so it is easy to anticipate how much time to give myself within a day. I, myself, feel that my time management skills are pretty alright. Better than some; however, I do feel that I need to improve my time management skills because anyone that tells you they don't need to improve them, is lying! Everyone has our days. Sometimes it isn't your fault, traffic or some other unexpected incident happens that you didn't prepare for. Though, I've always been told, "If you're early, you're on time. But if you're on time, you're late." Which I do try to live by, but I'm really good about getting there just in time. I hope to improve my skills by first, leaving earlier for wherever I am going, which gives me enough time for error. Secondly, for me to get to work on time, I need to have more discipline in getting up when my alarms go off. Not constantly snoozing and trying to go back to bed. Lastly, I need to make these specific goals in order to figure out how to obtain them, and hold myself accountable.
