Consumer fraud is serious and with advanced technology it is on the increase and very challenging to curtail. Consumer fraud can vary from telephone fraud to magazine fraud and conterfeit to identity theft. If it happens to you or a client, fill out a police report as for a record of the loss and for their data analysis and crime watch purposes. It may not seem to resolve the problem but it is a way to date stamp the incident in the event you have to refer to it in court, the examiner will ask if the crime was reported.
