The company produces fabrics and has a subsidiary that manufactures clothing both for the local and foreign markets. The leadership of the firm as part of its strategic vision has plans of getting ISO 9001:2015 certification in the next five years. In furtherance of this vision, the firm runs a Quality Management System built on the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System built on the Management System has been operated for the last 3 years.
You were recently contacted by the firm as a qualified QMS auditor to carry out an external audit on the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS. The following audit observations were made by you:
- The standard operating procedure for the destruction of the obsolete documents has been revised, however, the old version was still in circulation and use.
- Employees were not aware of the existence of the quality policy
