Create scenario where, based on at least TWO of the components of attribution theory (i.e., consensus, consistency, distinctiveness), most people would agree that the success of a person who picked a winning stock was caused by his/her inner qualities. (Make sure to explicitly state which components you're using).

Think of the question as follows: Picking a stock is a task. A man who picked a winning stock has demonstrated good task performance.

Now, review your notes regarding the definitions of consensus, consistency, and distinctiveness to determine who/what you have to compare the man's task performance to in order to make internal (trait) attributions about his success.
