Demonstrate your understanding of the fire and medical tools and equipment

Identify a tool from one of the following categories: medical equipment, extrication tools, fire extinguishing equipment, and any miscellaneous tool. Research the use of the tool as well as the historical changes to the equipment through materials, shape, and purpose.

Compile the information into either a three- to five-page written, or two- to three-minute oral, report with visual aids. Be sure to include a works-cited or a bibliography page.

Reports must include: a visual of the tool (including any past examples of the tool), a description of the tool and at least two previous examples of the same tool, and at least three resources in works-cited or bibliography page. You can search the Internet for images using the term, "fire equipment" or "fire fighting tools" for images that provide Creative Commons Universal Public Domain Dedication or are in the public domain as part of a government collection. All submissions should employ proper grammar, mechanics, and sentence structure
