Discussion 5: Implicit Bias Implicit bias is basically that initial thought that runs through our head before we rationally think about a situation. We all have it and can struggle with it. Take a look at the materials and think/discuss about how implicit bias impacts communication. You have probably experienced it at some point when someone has made a comment that you think is based on a snap judgment of you. You have also probably done it, definitely as a kid (because kids say the first thing that comes to mind regardless of the situation), but also as an adult. Think about the implications, not just for our general communication, but for communication in business in particular.
